Jesse N. Alexander is an engineer, performance poet, micro-publisher, and finalist in the 1999 Allen Ginsberg Poetry contest. He has been featured at the Knitting Factory, Groove Drops, and the Sumei Multidisciplinary Center, and his work has appeared in Sojourners Magazine, The Drumming Between Us: Black Love & Erotic Poetry, and Drumvoices Revue: A Confluence of Literary, Cultural & Vision Arts.
A 17 year veteran of Bell Labs, Jesse holds a Master of Engineering degree in electrical engineering from Howard University. He supports his poetry, science, and science fiction addictions by designing hardware, firmware, and documentation for the telecommunications industry.

Here's the deal...in three parts:
- I wanted to transfer my old ham radio plates
 from my old Toyota to my new Subaru, but I couldn't because of a mix up between the dealer and DMV.
- Meanwhile, I had been using EyePoet as a screen name on America Online for years because I-poet wasn't available when I signed up.
- I decided to use EyePoet on the new plates so I could remember them easily.
That's it. I wish I had a more profound story to tell. |
